UPSC Recruitment Notification 2024
To apply for the job, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics from a recognized university. Additionally, they should possess a Post-Graduate degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics. Furthermore, candidates should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics as one of their subjects.
The age limit for applicants is between 21 and 30 years, as per the official announcement. Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 200, except for female candidates, SC, ST, or candidates with benchmark disabilities who are exempted from paying the application fee. Candidates must possess the following degrees from an accredited university:

- Indian Statistical Service Applicants: To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics, with one of these subjects being a mandatory requirement. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, or Applied Statistics would also be considered. The degree must be from a University established by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India, other Educational Institutes established by an Act of Parliament, or a Foreign University approved by the Central Government.
