IRCON Notification Out 2024
IRCON, a renowned public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, has recently announced new job openings. The company is seeking suitable candidates to fill a total of six vacancies for various positions in the field of Electrical Engineering. The available positions are Manager/Electrical, Works Engineer/Electrical, and Site Supervisor/Electrical. Out of these, the Manager/Electrical position has only one vacancy while the remaining four are for the Works Engineer/Electrical position.

Salary Details
Candidates selected for the available positions will be entitled to receive a monthly consolidated salary based on their respective roles. The Manager/Electrical position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 60000, while the Works Engineer/Electrical position provides a monthly salary of Rs. 36000. Lastly, the Site Supervisor/Electrical position offers a monthly salary of Rs. 25000. Please note that the salary mentioned is inclusive of all benefits and perks.

Age Limit
The following are the maximum age limits for the available posts:
- Manager/Electrical: 50 years of age.
- Works Engineer/Electrical: 30 years of age.
- Site Supervisor/Electrical: 30 years of age.
- Please note that the age limit is strictly enforced and any candidate exceeding the maximum age limit will not be considered for the post.
Essential Qualifications
The educational qualifications and experience required for each post are as follows:
- Manager/Electrical: A recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC should have awarded the candidate at least 60% marks or equivalent grade for their Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. The candidate should have a minimum of five years’ experience in electrical construction, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning for railways, Metro Rail, and power transmission/distribution utilities. Railway OHE/Power Supply/SCADA experience is preferred, and E&M, electrical utility Diversification experience is desirable.
- Works Engineer/Electrical: Graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university/institute approved by AICTE/UGC. Minimum One-year experience in Electrical Construction work.
- Site Supervisor/Electrical: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE/UGC. Minimum One-year experience in Electrical Construction work.
